March 3 2018 10 am to 4:30 pm
Join collage artist Maureen Seltzer in this wildly creative and playful class. We will be learning about mono printing on an 8 x 10 Gel Plate as we make pretty papers and beyond. I will share with you about different papers from old book pages, maps, music sheets and tissue paper to use on this versatile tool that you will surly get addicted to. We will use the pretty papers that we make in this class to do a torn paper and cut paper painting of a whimsical garden. I will be sharing all of the secrets that I have learned over the years working with printmaking. You will leave this class with a finished 11 x 14 canvas. No drawing experience needed as we will work from patterns that I will give you to keep. We will take a short break for lunch so you are welcome to bring a sandwich or stop in to one of our great food places and grab a bite to eat. All supplies included.
Date of class: March 3
Time: 10:00am – 4:30
Space will be limited to 10 students so register soon.
